Hello! You can all call me Tate. I’m twenty years old and I’ve been roleplaying for going on eight years. I’m not too busy at the moment and I wish to get some IM/chat based roleplays going. I mainly roleplay something fandom based, although I’m not opposed to doing OC roleplays. Although I would prefer one on one, I won’t be opposed to small, private, groups.

I don’t roleplay anime simply because I am not knowledgable in any of the shows or mangas to be able to successfully pull something like that off. I prefer roleplaying dark themes, but I’m not too opposed to the occasional fluff moment every once in a while. When I roleplay, I’m in it for the story more than I am for the ships. 

I find good grammar and proper character portrayel to be extremely sexy. I’m not too big on smut, but I won’t refuse it if it pops up. I refuse to roleplay with anyone under the age of eighteen simply because I refuse to get in trouble if your parents catch you.

BLUE JEANS & VIDEO GAMES

“I know, I know, I know, I know, I know…” Gotta love that song, huh? Welp, I’m at it again. Hopefully this time around can fare a little more success. Anyway — hello, peeps. Name’s Shawn, but I usually go by Mero. I’m 21 years old, a senior in college who just happens to have time on his hands, even though he’s majoring in Biology. On the one hand, I’m pretty laid back, flexible, funny, and a joy to be around. On the other, I can be pretty cold and apathetic to people that like to dump their problems on me without me getting to know them, or them me. I live in Miami, so I’m on the Eastern time zone, but i’m very comfortable roleplaying with anyone from other zones. Speaking of roleplaying, I’ve been at this sort of thing for six years now, and I’d like to say that I’ve become increasingly proficient when it comes to it, though I could always strive to get better.

Now, onto my credentials, so to speak. My general word count is between 700-1000 words, but I’ve been known to exceed that in plots that I really like. I’m pretty much comfortable with any plot type, whether romance, friends, enemies, something messed up, or something ordinary, but I [b]hate[/b] those “lovey-dovey” storylines. Hate them. Uhm…my favorite male playbys are Cam Gigandet, Steven Strait, Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, and Gaspard Ulliel (since I exclusively roleplay male characters).

Most of the genre types I’m into circle around fantasy and supernatural elements. You know, the typical vampires, werewolves, angels and demons kind of stuff. As well as futuristic and dystopian elements, and I’m not above trying new things. Steampunk is really the one thing that I’m starting to get into, and I’m working on a site for that. I love all things bloody, gory, violent, sexual, everything along those lines. What’s pretty important to me is finding someone who doesn’t mind roleplaying these kinds of genres and ideas. I usually don’t like to handicap myself with people who aren’t comfortable, so that’s a big thing. Something taboo, something kinky, doesn’t matter. I’m a grown man, and I’d like to deal with a grown roleplayer. Real life isn’t something I like to dabble in all that much, but if there’s an idea you may possibly have, let me know. That’s a longshot, and I’ll really only do the real life stuff if I can get you into fantasy stuff as well. I’m only into heterosexual pairings, please don’t respond if you aren’t comfortable with that.

Aside from that, I’m looking for someone reliable, dependent (hopefully a character whore like myself), and willing to embark on different plot ideas with me. And someone who doesn’t mind some good smut here and there, that would be a big plus. No, I do not want any IM roleplayers, and no, I do not want to jump into a private roleplay with someone I don’t know. I would like someone to want to be my RP Buddy, as in “buddy”. I want to get to know them as well as roleplay with them. Then the IM and one-on-one roleplays start to come in. For now, I want someone that wouldn’t mind joining my site, or possibly gauging me with some possible site ideas — ideas, not actual sites themselves. I apologize in advance for my jadedness, but really, I’ve dealt with too many unreliable people.

Looking for certain roleplayers!

Hello all, my name is Shannon and I’m 21. I’ve been roleplaying for about eight years. I’m looking for someone through email or messenger (preferably messenger) who I can write with. I’ve been really busy with school lately, but now that it’s ended I’m looking for a good rping session! I always tend to look at rping not as a pastime but as an actual writing exercise. I tend to prefer things that have a psychological undertone.

Let’s see: I’m entirely ambivalent whether we play fandom original characters! Or some sort of mixture of the two.

Fandoms I’d be willing and eager to do are: Avengers, Supernatural, Sherlock (BBC), Legend of Korra or the original Avatar, and Community. (I’ve yet to come across a Community roleplayer, so maybe surprise me!)

Original: I’ll pretty much rp anything but straight slice of life.

So, to narrow that down considerably I’ll give you some themes I’d like to explore in either original or fandom roleplays.

Themes: First off, I tend to love darker stories but with a fantasy twist. I’d like to explore what a character’s motivations are, why they do what they do. Especially in anti-hero or villainous characters. That is not to stay heroes aren’t morally complex, because they can be! I just tend to love characters that can’t be pinned down in one category. I suppose here are some pairing/theme examples.

A modern retake on mythology/fairytales. (I’m most familiar with Greek but if you want another mythology, let me know and I’ll read up on it)

Scientist x non!animal experiment

Slave x Master relationship (not just the sex, everything behind it)

Hero x Villain

Dystopian future, or a “Utopia” that ends by being a Distopia.

Gods x Mortals

Gods x other gods

This is for roleplay, nothing more and nothing less. I have roleplayed for about 5 years, the longest roleplayed ever held was for 3 years. I am not into the same old droll boring plots. I like more, twisted, dark, and demented. Demons, vampires, witchcraft, serial murderers, undead abominations, blood lusting creations, etc, etc. I dont mean those whimpy now and then a bit bloody roleplays, Im talking full out rotting flesh, maggot infested corpses! I am very detailed and graphic, long posted roleplayer. Now! Just because I like such morbid tactics dose not mean that I dont like some romance and love. Looking for a Star Trek RP Partner!

Hello!

I’m not sure what all to really put here so I am just going to come out with what I’m looking for. Currently, I have a character involved in a very romantic and very serious relationship with Leonard McCoy (Star Trek 2009 reboot) and recently, I lost my RP partner for him due to time constraints. Because of this, I’m having to search out someone who I know won’t flake out on me or decide to have McCoy leave my character (this would not make sense because… they’ve technically been together for a lot of years love each other and have been through a lot.). That said, the entire RP experience would not be boring at all or just plain romance. There are TONS of things to do! You name it, we could probably do it. (Only restriction here is character death.) Anyway, I actually RP on a message board (phpbb) with other people and I hope that this doesn’t hinder things. You have to have knowledge of Star Trek (you do not have to be a full blown Trekkie but that would be awesome seeing as I’m still learning the universe myself), and above all you have to know the character because there is an application and they are very strict on canons. 

Another note: The Star Trek reboot does not mention that McCoy has a daughter so I would prefer it to stay as he has no children. I am aware that the original TOS Bones did, but because this is an alternate timeline and there was no mention of a daughter and only an ex-wife, I would like it to stay that way. (YAY for more plottage. But yeah…)

For the person that may pick up this character, I do play both male and female characters so I would HAPPILY return the favor in either picking up a canon for you to RP out your own story line or create an OC for you to play with if you have another character in mind for yourself. So, yes, I do return the favor.
